| 背面描述 | Printed in olive green intaglio throughout. The design is built around three large interlocking guilloche rosettes dominating the field, with bold numeral "100" counters set within the left and right rosettes. A central circular medallion with radiating engine-turned lathe work occupies the middle rosette, framed above by the legend "REPÚBLICA" and below by "DOS ESTADOS UNIDOS DO BRAZIL" in a solid-ground panel. Repeated denomination numerals border the top and bottom margins, with the printer's imprint split across the lower corners. |

| 备注 |
Brazil's Thesouro Nacional relied heavily on American Bank Note Company throughout the early Republic period, and this twelfth printing of the 100 Mil Réis continues that relationship into 1912 — a year of relative monetary calm following the turbulence of the Encilhamento speculative boom and its long deflationary hangover. By this point the series had been running long enough that successive printings were distinguished primarily by control numbering and minor typographic adjustments rather than any redesign.
The "12th Print" designation matters to specialists because earlier impressions of this Pick type show measurable variation in ink density and plate wear that accumulated across printings — ABNC was supplying a high-volume client over many years, and the plates showed it.
