Reverse description Left-facing bust of Józef Piłsudski, depicted in military uniform with a peaked cap, rendered in high relief with strong modelling of the facial features. The circular legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' (Republic of Poland) arcs around the periphery, with 'RZECZPOSPOLITA' reading along the left and 'POLSKA' along the right. The field is plain, with no exergue inscription. The portrait is attributed to the engraver W. Wasilewicz.
