| Obverse description | Brown letterpress-printed obverse on plain paper, originally issued as a 20 Mark Ersatzgeld by the Stadt Stettin dated 3 Oktober 1918, with an ornamental guilloche border and the city griffin arms in the lower corners. The central text panel carries the issuing authority 'Stadt Stettin' and a manuscript validity clause, with three handwritten Magistrat signatures below; the printed marginal legend 'Gültig bis 2 Wochen nach Aufruf' runs at the top, with 'Gültig für 100 Mark' repeated vertically on both side margins. A large diagonal blue rubber overstamp across the entire face reads 'Erneut gültig für 100 Mark / Stettin, den 15. November 1922 / DER MAGISTRAT', accompanied by an additional blue manuscript countersignature, formally converting the denomination to 100 Mark. |
