正面描述	Dark blue letterpress on a fine guilloche underprint in grey-green tones, enclosed within a double zigzag border. The denomination numeral '100' appears at left and right, with a large central '100' above the Fraktur inscription 'Gutschein über Hundert Mark'. Two lines of small italic text below set out the legal tender clause, followed by the place and date 'Düren, den 8. April 1920' at lower left, a handwritten signature of the Oberbürgermeister at lower right, and a red serial number at lower left.

Two diagonal violet overprints reading 'WERTLOS' (worthless) appear at upper left and upper right, indicating the note was officially cancelled and demonetized.
