Obverse description Yellow-toned note with a fine guilloche border in green. The bank title BANQUE DE SYRIE ET DU LIBAN is printed in large bold letters across the top, flanked by circular guilloche medallions bearing Arabic inscriptions. The denomination CENT LIVRES appears in large intaglio letters at centre, with the numeral 100 at lower right and a stylised numeral at lower left; serial number prefixes WB appear at both upper left and upper right. A bilingual redemption clause in French and Arabic runs across the mid-section, with the date DAMAS LE 1ER. AOÛT 1942 and two manuscript signatures below, identified by their official titles. Arabic text in a rectangular panel occupies the lower margin.

Reverse description Uniface green reverse printed entirely in guilloche underprint, with an elaborate central oval rosette medallion surrounded by radiating fine-line patterns filling the entire field. The numeral 100 is incorporated into the left portion of the central vignette. No textual legends appear; the design relies entirely on the intricate lathe-work guilloche for its decorative and anti-counterfeiting effect.
