The denomination LIRE 100 appears divided in the field to either side of the figure. In the exergue, the engraver's name and the name of the designer are inscribed flanking the date 1907, which is itself flanked by a mint mark and the Star of Italy. The legend REGNO D'ITALIA arcs along the upper periphery, with PROVA indicating the trial strike status of the piece.
