Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of King Victor Emmanuel III facing left, with short curly hair and a prominent moustache, rendered in high relief in a naturalistic portrait style. The circular legend reads VITTORIO EMANUELE III, disposed along the upper periphery within a beaded border. The engraver's signature SPERANZA appears in small incuse lettering beneath the truncation of the neck at the base of the field.

Reverse description A displayed heraldic eagle with wings spread, bearing the crowned Savoia shield on its breast. The Royal Crown of Italy surmounts the eagle's head at the top of the field. Beneath the eagle's tail, the mintmark R (Rome Mint) appears between two six-pointed stars. The denomination L.100 is inscribed to the left of the mintmark area, and the date is placed to the right, all within a beaded border. The circular legend REGNO D'ITALIA arcs along the upper periphery.
