| 正面描述 | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Vittorio Emanuele III, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features characteristic of Romagnoli's medallic style. The truncation of the neck is clean, with the engraver's signature G·ROMAGNOLI incised below. The circular legend surrounding the portrait reads VITTORIO·EMANUELE·III·RE·E·IMP·, identifying the monarch as King and Emperor of Italy. The field is smooth and unadorned, directing full attention to the royal portrait. |

The 100 Lire Littore series was issued to commemorate the Fascist regime's proclamation of the Italian Empire following the conquest of Ethiopia in May 1936 — the "Littore" name referencing the fasces-bearing lictor, a deliberate symbol of Mussolini's ideological program rendered in gold. Production was extremely limited; the issue was never intended for general circulation and functioned primarily as a prestige object distributed among officials and foreign dignitaries.
Fr#35 distinguishes this as the larger module, struck the same year as the smaller companion piece under the same KM series umbrella. Surviving examples in original mint state are relatively few given the low mintage of approximately 10,070 pieces.
