Reverse description Printed entirely in brown on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a central rectangular panel bearing the 'ALLIED MILITARY CURRENCY' inscription set within an ornate frame, flanked on either side by two large circular guilloche medallions. The left medallion contains the inscriptions 'FREEDOM OF SPEECH' and 'FREEDOM OF RELIGION', while the right medallion bears 'FREEDOM FROM WANT' and 'FREEDOM FROM FEAR', referencing Roosevelt's Four Freedoms. The overall design is composed entirely of fine lathe-work geometric patterns with no pictorial vignette.
