Obverse description Central depiction of the three towers of San Marino (Guaita, Cesta, and Montale) rendered in a stylized, linear engraving style, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The circular legend REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO runs along the upper periphery, while LIBERTAS PERPETUA appears below, separated by small decorative elements. The engraver's signature L. CRETARA is inscribed at the lower right of the inner field. The design is executed in a bold, graphic modernist style characteristic of Italian commemorative coinage of the period.
