| 表面の説明 | The field is dominated by twelve individual circular medallions arranged in a ring, each bearing the raised portrait bust of one of the Presidents of the Republic of Türkiye, identified by name and term of office in the surrounding legend: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1923–1938), İsmet İnönü (1938–1950), Celal Bayar (1950–1960), Cemal Gürsel (1960–1966), Cevdet Sunay (1966–1973), Fahri Korutürk (1973–1980), Kenan Evren (1982–1989), Turgut Özal (1989–1993), Süleyman Demirel (1993–2000), Ahmet Necdet Sezer (2000–2007), Abdullah Gül (2007–2014), and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan (2014–). At the centre, within an oval cartouche, appear the crescent-and-star emblem alongside the inscriptions TÜRKİYE CUMHURİYETİ, REPUBLIC OF TÜRKİYE, TÜRKİYE YÜZYILI, the centennial logo incorporating the numeral 100 with a crescent and star, the date range 1923–2023, and the denomination 100 Türk Lirası. The background field is decorated with an intricate engine-turned guilloche pattern. The mint mark of the Turkish State Mint appears at the bottom of the central cartouche. |
