正面描述 Central vignette presents an intaglio portrait of İsmet İnönü, second President of the Turkish Republic, set within an ornate octagonal frame with fine guilloche work flanking both sides. The denomination "100" appears in large numerals at the four corners, with "YÜZ 100 TÜRK LİRASI" inscribed twice across the face, accompanied by serial number and series prefix in red. Two facsimile signatures appear at the lower centre, with the printer's imprint "AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY" at the bottom edge.

备注

Turkey contracted the American Bank Note Company for this series during a period when domestic printing infrastructure couldn't meet the postwar demand for high-denomination currency. The ABNC's intaglio work was considered among the finest available to smaller sovereign issuers at the time, and several countries were competing for press time in New York during the late 1940s.

P#149 belongs to the Fifth Emission group. Notes from this emission are known to develop browning along the margins due to the specific paper stock used, making genuinely clean examples harder to locate than the catalog population suggests.
