Obverse description Bare-headed, bearded effigy of Prince Ferdinand I facing left, with finely detailed hair and short beard rendered in high relief. The truncation is clean and unadorned. A Cyrillic legend arcs around the upper periphery identifying the ruler and his title, while the engraver's signature A. SCHARFF appears in small characters below the bust, and the Kremnica mint mark К·Б· is placed at the bottom of the field. The entire design is framed by an inner beaded border.
