A divine ray descends from above toward the Virgin, rendered in a manner consistent with traditional Orthodox iconographic convention. The scene is executed in high relief with rich detail throughout the architectural and figural elements. The Cyrillic legend БЛАГОВЕЩЕНИЕ (Annunciation) arcs along the upper border of the coin. |
