Fantasy notes issued under fictional bank names occupy a narrow collector niche — part satirical object, part graphic design exercise. This one was produced in 2024 by designer Dani Crisan, whose work in Romanian football-themed notaphily has built a small but dedicated following. The "Rapid" reference ties it to Fotbal Club Rapid București, one of Romania's most historically turbulent clubs, whose identity carries enough cultural weight to anchor a piece like this without further explanation to any Romanian collector.
No legal tender status, no central bank backing. Collects as ephemera.
