Fantasy notes — privately produced pieces with no legal tender status and no issuing authority with any real existence — occupy a grey zone in the collector market. This one names a fictitious Romanian central bank and carries a 2024 date, placing it squarely in the modern novelty category rather than in any serious numismatic tradition. Dani Crisan is credited as designer, which at least establishes clear artistic provenance.
