| Opmerkingen |
Moldova's 100 Lei series has been printed by the Banque de France's printing works — the same facility responsible for French franc production before euro adoption — since the mid-1990s, an arrangement that reflects the limited infrastructure options available to newly independent post-Soviet states rather than any particular bilateral relationship. The 2015 date on this note indicates a reprint within the long-running P#25 series, not a redesign.
For a note of this value, the security specification is notably sparse — watermark only, with none of the optical variable ink or security threads that became routine on comparable denominations elsewhere in Eastern Europe by the 2010s.
