The inscriptions ROMANIA appear in rectangular cartouches at the mid-left and mid-right, and a block of anti-counterfeiting legal warning text is set in small letterpress along the lower margin. Designer and engraver credits GEORGES DUVAL fec. and L. RUFFE sc. are repeated at the lower corners.
