| Opis awersu | Bare-headed effigy of King Carol II facing right, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail. Flanking the bust on either side are decorative laurel branches extending vertically along the inner rim. The legend CAROL II arcs across the upper field, while REGELE ROMANILOR curves along the lower periphery. The engraver's signature E.W. BECKER appears incuse beneath the truncation of the bust. The overall composition reflects a restrained Art Deco portraiture style characteristic of Romanian commemorative coinage of the period. |

| Opis rewersu | Central device comprises the royal cypher of Carol II — two interlaced letter C's surmounted by the Romanian Steel Crown — set within a radiating sunburst emanating from behind the cypher. The entire central device is encircled by a decorative wreath of intertwined branches adorned with floral rosettes, tied at the base with a ribbon bow bearing the mint mark. The legend ROMANIA arcs prominently across the upper field. The commemorative dates 1930 and 1940 flank the central device at mid-field, while 8 IUNIE descends along the left and A 8 IUNIE along the right inner border. The denomination 100 LEI appears in the lower exergue. |
