Reverse description Central device comprises the royal cypher of Carol II — two interlaced letter C's surmounted by the Romanian Steel Crown — set within a radiating sunburst emanating from behind the cypher. The entire central device is encircled by a decorative wreath of intertwined branches adorned with floral rosettes, tied at the base with a ribbon bow bearing the mint mark. The legend ROMANIA arcs prominently across the upper field. The commemorative dates 1930 and 1940 flank the central device at mid-field, while 8 IUNIE descends along the left and A 8 IUNIE along the right inner border. The denomination 100 LEI appears in the lower exergue.
