Obverse description Central vignette of a peacock with fully spread tail feathers, rendered in fine intaglio line work within an ornate floral and scroll border. To the right, a small vignette of a mythical chinthe (lion-guardian) figure in an arched frame; an empty rectangular panel appears to the left. Denomination numerals appear in each corner, with Burmese script inscriptions below the central vignette and the serial number printed in red.
