The tughra is flanked and framed below by a symmetrical wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at the base, with floral sprigs interspersed among the foliage. Above the tughra, a prominent crescent and star device occupies the uppermost field, itself surrounded by a ring of seven five-pointed stars arranged along the inner border. The coin is encircled by a finely beaded inner border, consistent with the milled coinage standards of the late Ottoman period.
