Reverse description Three lines of stacked Arabic calligraphic legend occupy the central field, enclosed within a finely engraved wreath of laurel branches tied at the base with a decorative bow. A small star appears at the apex of the wreath above the legend. The inscription reads 'عز نصره' (May he be victorious) on the first line, 'ضرب في برسه' (Struck in Bursa) on the second, and the Hijri date '١٢٧٧' (1277) at the foot of the design below the wreath. The milled border frames the entire reverse composition.
