| Obverse description | The Croatian coat of arms — the historic red-and-white chequered shield surmounted by a crown of five smaller shields — is displayed centrally at the top of the field. Flanking the arms, the denomination '100 KUNA' is inscribed horizontally across the upper field, with the curved legend 'REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA' arching along the upper rim.
