正面描述 Austro-Hungarian 100 Kronen note (Austria P#12, German-language side) overstamped with a violet circular adhesive stamp bearing the Slovenian-language inscription KRALJESTVO SRBOV HRVATOV SLOVENCEV, applied as a provisional validation mark by the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in 1919. The underlying note retains the original SZÁZ KORONA letterpress text, ornate guilloche underprint, and serial number panel of the Osztrák-Magyar Bank issue dated Budapest, 2 January 1912. The stamp is positioned over the central vignette area, partially obscuring the original portrait medallion.

备注

These notes were created through a practical improvisation rather than a purpose-designed issue: Austrian-Hungarian 100 Kronen notes were overprinted and restamped for use in the newly proclaimed Kingdom. The underlying Austro-Hungarian paper had no legitimacy in the new state, but outright replacement was logistically impossible in 1919 — the overprint was the stopgap.

The P#9B designation distinguishes a specific overprint or paper variant within what is otherwise a crowded series of similar issues. Forged and altered overprints are a documented problem across the entire Slovenian overprint group, and attribution between catalog variants requires close examination of the stamp placement and ink.
