| 表面の説明 | This note is a Serbian overstamp applied to the Austro-Hungarian Oesterreichisch-Ungarische Bank 100 Kronen issue of 2 January 1912 (Austria P#12), with the stamp applied to the Hungarian-language (German-side) face. The underlying note displays the large inscription SZAZ KORONA at left, an oval vignette of a female portrait at centre-right with elaborate Art Nouveau guilloche borders, and the issuing authority OSZTRAK-MAGYAR BANK. A Cyrillic adhesive stamp reading СРБА ХРВАТА СЛОВЕНАЦА was applied by the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes to validate the note for circulation. |

Pick 9 was not a newly designed note — it was a repurposed Serbian 100 Dinara issue overstamped or adapted for circulation in the newly proclaimed Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes after December 1918. The kingdom needed circulating paper fast, and printing entirely new issues took time the monetary authorities did not have.
The denomination reads in Kruna rather than Dinar, reflecting the awkward transitional period when the new state was still absorbing the currency systems of its constituent territories — Serbian Dinars, Austro-Hungarian Kronen, and Montenegrin Perper all circulated simultaneously in different regions.
