| 备注 |
Landsbanki Íslands occupied an unusual constitutional position in this period — it functioned simultaneously as a commercial bank and the sole note-issuing authority for Iceland, which was a sovereign kingdom in personal union with Denmark under Christian X. That dual role, and the political awkwardness it created, would eventually drive the 1961 reorganization that split the functions apart.
Gerhard Heilmann is better known as an ornithologist than a banknote designer — his 1926 book on the origin of birds remained a standard reference for decades. His work for Danmarks Nationalbank's printing works was a sideline, though a technically accomplished one.
