| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a large central guilloche medallion in intaglio, within which an oval portrait vignette presents King Gustav I (Gustav Vasa, c. 1496–1560) in three-quarter view, bearded and wearing a fur-trimmed hat, engraved in fine crosshatched detail. Flanking the central medallion are two symmetrical rosette panels each bearing the numeral "100", set within an elaborate lathe-work border. The inscriptions "SVERIGES RIKSBANK" arc across the top of the medallion and "KRONOR 100 KRONOR" runs along the lower scroll. |
