| Obverse description | The right half of the obverse carries an intaglio vignette of Mother Svea seated beside a lion, rendered in fine line engraving against a guilloche underprint in red and orange. The denomination "ETT HUNDRA KRONOR" is set in bold gothic lettering across the centre, overlaid on the multicolour rosette underprint, with the issuer name "SVERIGES RIKSBANK" arching diagonally in large ornate script across the upper portion. The motto "HINC ROBUR ET SECURITAS 1668" appears in the lower right corner, with the numeral "100" in large red figures, and two manuscript signatures appear at lower left. |
