Obverse description Allegorical figure of Svea seated at lower right, rendered in intaglio, accompanied by a lion and shield. The centre carries the denomination ETT HUNDRA KRONOR in bold letterpress over a blue and orange guilloche underprint with rosette motifs. "SVERIGES RIKSBANK" appears in large gothic script across the upper field, with the date printed in red at upper right and lower left.
Obverse lettering Sveriges Riksbank inlöser, vid anfordran, denna sedel å Ett Hundra Kronor med guldmynt enligt lagen om rikets mynt af den 30 Mai 1873
(Translation: Sweden`s Riksbank will pay, on demand, for this note One Hundred Kronor in gold coin according to the law on the national coinage of 30th May 1873)
Reverse description Central intaglio portrait vignette of King Gustav Vasa in an oval frame, set within an elaborate multi-layered guilloche medallion in dark brown and ochre. Denomination numerals "100" appear in ornate guilloche panels to the left and right, with scrollwork bearing "KRONOR 100 KRONOR" below the portrait. "SVERIGES RIKSBANK" arcs across the top of the central medallion beneath a crown motif.
