Reverse description A dynamic composition depicts a closely packed peloton of seven cyclists racing in full stride, rendered in high relief with strong diagonal movement conveying speed and competition. Above the riders, a stylised arc or velodrome track element frames the upper field, referencing the cycling venue. The inscription SYKKEL VM appears prominently in large letters across the lower portion of the field, with the commemorative dual dates 1893 and 1993 displayed on separate lines beneath, marking the centenary of the UCI World Cycling Championships. The overall design, by Marek Sobocinski, employs a vigorous, sculptural style suited to the sporting subject matter.
