| Obverse description | Unadorned right-facing effigy of King Harald V occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and facial features. The circumferential legend reads HARALD V · NOREGS KONGE, divided by the portrait, with the date 1993 and mint mark K appearing in the lower exergual area flanked by the royal monogram. The engraver's initials IAR are incuse to the left of the king's truncation. The mirrored proof fields provide strong contrast against the frosted device. |
