Obverse description Blue and multicolour intaglio print on a guilloche underprint. The crowned Norwegian royal arms appear as a central vignette at the top, with the denomination expressed in numerals and words positioned at the bottom and to the right. The note bears the overprint KRIGSSEDDEL (war note) and the year 1944, issued under special authority of the Norwegian government in exile.

Reverse description Orange letterpress print on a light guilloche ground. The crowned Haakon VII royal monogram is positioned in the upper right, while the denomination in both numerals and words appears toward the lower left. The overall design is relatively austere, consistent with the wartime emergency issue character of this series.
