| Opis awersu | Printed on bright yellow paper, the obverse is laid out entirely in black letterpress typography within a decorative border of repeating ornamental motifs. The issuer's name, Store Norske Spitsbergen Kulkompani Aktieselskap, is set in large blackletter (Gothic) type at the centre, above the denomination stated as '100 = hundrede kroner' in bold display script. The series designation and serial number appear in boxed panels at the upper left and upper right respectively, while two manuscript signatures are placed at the lower portion above their printed titles: Styrets formann (Chairman of the Board) and Kontorsjef, Spitsbergen (Office Manager, Spitsbergen). |
