Obverse description The Czechoslovak Socialist coat of arms occupies the central field, depicted as a shield bearing a rampant double-tailed lion with a flaming torch on its breast, surmounted by a five-pointed star and flanked by linden branches. The denomination '100' appears to the left of the shield and 'KCS' to the right, both in bold block capitals. The legend 'CESKOSLOVENSKA SOCIALISTICKA REPUBLIKA' is inscribed in three lines across the lower field beneath the arms.
