Obverse description Central field dominated by a large heraldic shield bearing the double-tailed Czech lion rampant, crowned, rendered in bold relief. Below the shield, a stylised depiction of the Charles Bridge in Prague appears in the lower portion of the field, with the engraver's initials 'ZK' incused beneath it. The circular legend CESKOSLOVENSKO runs along the upper periphery in large Latin capital letters, separated from the central device by a raised inner border.
