| 裏面の説明 | The reverse presents a left-facing truncated bust portrait of Klement Gottwald, President of Czechoslovakia and founding leader of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, depicted in civilian dress. The subject's name 'KLEMENT GOTTWALD' arcs across the upper field in two segments flanking the portrait. The founding and commemorative dates '1921' and '1951' appear in the lower field on either side of the bust. Along the lower periphery, the commemorative legend 'TRICET LET KOMUNISTICKÉ STRANY ČESKOSLOVENSKA' reads in a circular arc, marking the thirtieth anniversary of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. |

Issued to mark the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Communist Party, this coin appeared just two years after the February 1948 coup that brought the Party to unchallenged power. By 1951, Stalinist consolidation was well underway — show trials were already being prepared against Party officials themselves, including Rudolf Slánský, who would be executed the following year.
The .500 fineness reflects postwar silver austerity across the Eastern Bloc rather than any independent monetary decision from Prague.
