| 正面描述 | Cream-coloured note printed in dark red on a fine geometric guilloche underprint, with the Hungarian coat of arms vignette centred at the top. The issuer's name and branch designation are inscribed in two lines below the arms, followed by a bearer clause in smaller lettering. The large-format denomination legend '100 SZÁZ KORONÁT 100' is set in bold letterpress across the centre, flanked by ornamental heart motifs, with a 'GYŐRI FIÓKJA' overprint in pale ink beneath; the date 'GYŐR, 1919. MÁJUS HÓ 7-ÉN.' appears below, and two manuscript signature blocks with printed role designations occupy the lower portion. Numerals '100' appear in each corner, and the note carries a series letter 'E' at upper left and a stamped serial number at upper right. |

| 备注 |
In the chaotic interregnum following the collapse of Austria-Hungary, branch-level emergency money proliferated across the former kingdom as central authority evaporated. This 100 Korona note was issued not by a national bank but by the Győr branch of the Pesti Magyar Kereskedelmi Bank — a commercial institution acting out of practical necessity rather than any formal mandate. Győr, as a significant industrial and rail hub on the Vienna-Budapest corridor, had pressing local liquidity demands that could not wait on Budapest.
These branch-issued szükségpénz are catalogued separately precisely because denominations and overprints varied by locality. Ambrus-II#1502 places this squarely within the 1919 Hungarian emergency currency sequence, before the short-lived Hungarian Soviet Republic's own monetary interventions further muddied the waters.
