| Obverse description | Laureate and draped right-facing effigy of Emperor Francis Joseph I, depicted as an elderly monarch with prominent side-whiskers, occupying the majority of the field. A fine beaded border frames the periphery. The circumferential legend in Hungarian reads FERENCZ JÓZSEF I.K.A.CS ÉS M.H.S.D.O.AP.KIR., abbreviating his full royal titles, with the date 1907 positioned at the base of the portrait. The portrait is rendered in high relief in the academic medallic style characteristic of late Habsburg coinage. |
