Poznámky	The Konvertibilna Marka was introduced in 1998 under the Dayton Agreement's financial architecture, pegged first to the Deutsche Mark and later, automatically, to the Euro at the fixed rate of 1.95583 KM. The currency was deliberately designed to function without a central monetary policy — the Central Bank operates as a pure currency board, legally prohibited from extending credit to the government or commercial banks. That constraint was written in specifically to prevent the kind of wartime monetary collapse Bosnia had experienced just years earlier. Oberthur's Rennes facility handled production for the entire inaugural series. P#69 is the highest denomination of that first issue.
