| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is dominated by a central intaglio vignette of the Bank of Papua New Guinea headquarters building, rendered with fine architectural detail against a multicolour guilloche underprint in green, orange, and gold. In the upper left, an intaglio vignette of the national coat of arms with bird of paradise is set within a decorative frame, while two facsimile signatures — those of the Governor and the Secretary of the Department of Treasury — appear to the left alongside a commemorative circular seal reading "Bank of Papua New Guinea 1973–2008 / 35th Anniversary." The denomination numeral "100" appears in the upper right in red and black, with the serial number printed twice — vertically at right and horizontally at lower centre — and the legend "One Hundred Kina" in the lower right. |

A traditional Sepik-style carved oval motif is placed at the left, and a gold and orange flame or abstract shape occupies the lower right. The multicolour underprint combines green, peach, and orange tones with geometric guilloche patterns along the borders. |
