Obverse description The obverse is printed in black on cream-toned paper with an elaborate geometric border composed of repeated guilloche and lathe-work patterns framing the entire note. The issuing authority name DE CURAÇAOSCHE BANK is rendered in bold letterpress across the upper central field, with the text betaalt aan Toonder (payable to bearer) immediately below, followed by the denomination HONDERD GULDEN in large block capitals.
