| Obverse description | Central field features a dynamic quadriga scene in high relief, depicting a charioteer driving four rearing horses to the right, the charioteer's arm raised wielding a javelin, rendered in a classical Greco-Roman artistic style. The engraver's signatures 'G. ROMAGNOLI' and 'A. MOTTI INC.' appear in the lower right field. The word 'PROVA' (trial) is inscribed in the upper field above the chariot. Below the exergual line, the bilingual legend 'ALBANIA - SHQIPNI' is inscribed, with the date '1927' and mint mark 'R' (Rome) flanking the denomination 'Fr.A.100' in bold characters across the lower portion of the coin. |

| Reverse description | Bare-headed, unadorned left-facing bust of Ahmet Zogu, President (later King) of Albania, modelled in fine relief with naturalistically rendered hair and facial features in the Italian neoclassical tradition. The legend 'AMET ZOGU' is distributed in individual letters around the periphery of the field, flanking the portrait. Two small five-pointed stars appear in the lower field beneath the truncation of the bust. |
