| Obverse description | A peasant farmer in traditional Albanian dress guides a plow drawn by two oxen, the composition rendered in high sculptural relief and moving to the left across the field. The legend SHQIPNI / ALBANIA appears in two lines across the upper field. Below the central scene, engraver signatures A. MOTT ING. and G. ROMAGNOLI flank the lower register, with the mint mark V (Vienna), the word PROVA, and the date 1927 arranged along the lower rim. The denomination FR.A.5 is inscribed in large characters at the very bottom of the coin. |
