Reverse description The reverse presents an aerial perspective view of the Cour Napoléon of the Louvre Museum, featuring I. M. Pei's iconic glass pyramid complex, with the main large pyramid flanked by a smaller secondary pyramid rendered in fine detail. The surrounding legend BICENTENAIRE DU MUSEE DU LOUVRE arcs along the upper border, commemorating the bicentennial of the museum's founding. The face value 100F is inscribed in the lower field beneath the architectural scene, and the date 1993 appears within the legend. The design is engraved by Bernard Turlan.
