| Beschrijving keerzijde | A colorized scene depicts the fairy-tale character Rumpelstiltskin, portrayed as a small impish figure wearing a pointed hat and rustic clothing, bent over a wooden spinning wheel at the center of the field. Bundles of straw are shown to the right, evoking the Grimm fairy-tale narrative of spinning straw into gold. The legend RUMPELSTILZCHEN arcs prominently along the upper periphery, with the date 2016 appearing in the field to the upper right. The purity and weight inscription 1/2 G .999 FINE GOLD is inscribed along the left periphery. The polychrome coloring of the central motif contrasts vividly with the surrounding gold border. |

Niger's 100 Francs gold minifigure series, of which this piece is part, was produced by the Berne-based Swissmint affiliate B.H. Mayer's Kunstprägeanstalt in Munich — a firm with a long history of producing numismatic novelties for African CFA franc member states that lack their own minting infrastructure. The series exploits Niger's CFA membership to issue legal tender with effectively zero domestic circulation intent.
At 0.5 g, the gold content is nominal by any investment standard. These exist purely as collectibles riding European fairy tale licensing.
