Obverse description Three giant eland antelopes depicted in left-facing profile, rendered in fine relief against a plain field, their elongated horns prominently displayed. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE FEDERALE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper periphery. The engraver's signature G.B.L.BAZOR appears vertically in the right field, with the Monnaie de Paris mint mark at lower left.

Reverse description Large bold denomination 100 FRANCS occupies the central field, with the numeral rendered in an ornate dotted style within a rectangular cartouche flanked by decorative geometric zig-zag border elements at left and right. The legend BANQUE CENTRALE arcs along the upper periphery. The word ESSAI appears below the denomination, and the date 1971 is inscribed at the lower exergue within a decorative panel.
