Obverse description Portrait on the left of Prince Jean (1921-), Grand Duke heir of Luxembourg. On the left the crowned escutcheon of the Bourbons, on the right the escutcheon of Luxembourg surmounted by a crested helmet. Initials of the engraver under the cut of the neck. Around the legend in Luxembourg and the face value between two points to the exergue.

Reverse description Warrior (depicting John the Blind) riding to the right with a crested helmet, brandishing a sword with his right hand and covering himself with a shield with the arms of Luxembourg. Behind him is a banner inscribed with its motto. Around the legend in Luxembourg, the name of the engraver in words at 5 o`clock and below the date of death of John the Blind and the date of issue of the coin.
