Togo has not issued its own currency since joining the West African Economic and Monetary Union — the CFA franc is administered entirely by the Banque Centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest, and Togo has no independent minting authority. Coins bearing Togolese attribution in this format are collector issues produced by private minting companies under licensing arrangements, not circulating legal tender in any practical sense.
The Yellow Sunbird (Cinnyris olivaceus or a related species depending on the specific design brief) is native to sub-Saharan Africa, though not especially endemic to Togo specifically.
