Aanvullende informatie

The BCEAO, the West African monetary authority that normally governs coinage for Ivory Coast, had no involvement in this issue. It belongs to a category of small-format gold pieces produced under licensing arrangements with European minting houses — primarily the Monnaie de Paris and several private mints — where individual member states nominally authorize collector pieces that never circulate domestically. The 0.5g format places it squarely in a product line designed for the European bullion gift market, not for Ivorian commerce.
